ABOUT THIS CHALLENGE
The Charity... 18 Clues proudly supports animal and environmental charities at home and abroad. Each time we add a new set of Challenges to our portfolio, we select an additional inspirational charity to donate to on a quarterly basis. In this instance we chose to add Battersea Dogs & Cats Home to our list of charties. Established in 1860 by Mary Tealby, Battersea is one of the UK’s oldest and best known animal rescue centres. Offering love and expert care to cats and dogs in need by rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming them, Battersea shares their knowledge and resources with rescue groups around the world
The Location... With dazzling theatres, galleries, hotels, shops, residences, royal parks and restaurants, London’s West End is one of the most vibrant and exciting places on the planet. This Challenge provides a sumptuous taste of what this part of London has to offer.
The Challenge... Correctly solve 18 clues to pinpoint the location of a devious device and thereby prevent the unscrupulous 'Disruptor' and her cronies from throwing London's West End into utter chaos!
USEFUL INFORMATION
The Walking version is around three miles long and is relatively flat and easy to negotiate. It will take up to three hours to complete, although allow longer for refreshment stops, picnics and/or taking in points of interest along the way. As with all Challenges, you can start and finish at any clue, and may split it over a couple of days if you wish.
The Virtual version will take up to two hours to complete, although you can, of course, start and stop whenever you wish. You never know where you will pop up next to find and solve a clue!
Clues, facts and solutions for the two versions are completely different, so if you live near or are visiting London, why not buy both Walking and Virtual versions to discover more and enhance your chances of winning the prize draw?
