The Charity... £1 for every copy of the Edinburgh – Athens of the North Challenges sold will be donated to Rewilding Britain via Work for Good.

 

The Location... The Scottish capital constantly ranks as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Brimming with rich history, striking architecture, lush green spaces, and undeniable character, Edinburgh is a captivating place to explore.

 

The Challenge... is to correctly solve 18 clues to identify who started a fire on Castle Rock, very close to Edinburgh Castle. Needless to say, this deed could have had devastating consequences, making it crucial for the culprit to be identified and the truth revealed.

 

USEFUL INFORAMATION

 

The Walking version will give you a fantastic overview of stunning Edinburgh. It is around four and a half miles long and will take around three and a half hours to complete. Allow longer for refreshment stops, picnics, and/or taking in points of interest along the way. As with all Challenges, you can start and finish at any clue, and may split it over a couple of days if you wish.  NOTE: You won't be required to climb Arthur's Seat to complete this Challenge, but Edinburgh is built on several hills, so do be prepared for some upward gradients along the way! 

 

The Virtual version will take up to two hours to complete, although you can, of course, start and stop whenever you wish. You never know where you will pop up next to find and solve a clue!

 

Clues, facts and solutions for the two versions are completely different, so if you live near or are visiting Edinburgh, why not buy both Walking and Virtual versions to discover more and enhance your chances of winning the prize draw?
